Mentre osserviamo l'orrore circostante, la vendetta della Terra sul Mondo, l'esplosione di demenza senile e psicosi aggressiva che inzaccherano la storia degli umani, la parola DISERZIONE emerge come concetto multi-dimensionale. Cominciamo a pensare che la diserzione sia destinata a diventare il solo modello strategicamente efficace molto al di là dell'alternativa tra guerra e pace.
Diserzione è sfuggire agli orrori della guerra, ma anche agli orrori della pace: della pace che ha preparato questa guerra, della pace che accompagna questa guerra.
Diserzione è la Grande Rassegnazione: milioni di persone che non vogliono più lavorare per la miseria del salario. Disertare è abbandonare il campo di battaglia, sgattaiolare via prima che ti acciuffi la polizia militare e ti fucili alle spalle. Diserzione è il rifiuto di partecipare, rifiuto di entrare nella trappola della democrazia, il gioco vuoto del potere che si legittima promettendo cose che non è più in grado di fare. Diserzione è il rifiuto di fare figli per la patria, di mettere al mondo innocenti per il forno dell’estate che viene.
Di questo comportamento tessiamo gli elogi.
E' il comportamento che consiglio ai miei amici, ai miei studenti, ai miei lettori, e a tutti i giovani che sono convocati e mandati in guerra o al lavoro, o a sostenere la Nazione. Il solo comportamento eticamente accettabile e strategicamente razionale è la fuga, l'abbandono, l'inazione, la diserzione insomma.

While watching at the surrounding horror, watching the revenge of the Earth on the World, watching the unleashing of senile dementia and aggressive psychosis, the concept of desertion emerged in full view as a multi-dimensional concept, and I began to think that desertion is poised to become a strategically effective model well beyond the field of war and peace. Desertion is a way to escape the horrors of war, but also to escape the horrors of peace, of the peace that prepared for war, of the peace that will follow this war. Desertion is the Great Resignation of millions of people who do not want to work anymore for miserable wages.
Deserting means to abandon the battle, somehow sneak out of the fray, weaselling away from the place where the fight is raging, and flee, before the military police catch you and shoot you in the back to make you pay for your cowardice. I praise this behaviour. This is the behaviour that I suggest to my friends, to my students, to my readers, and to all young people that are summoned and ordered to go to war, to go to work, to go to support the Nation. The only behaviour that I consider ethically acceptable and strategically rational is flight, abandonment, inaction, desertion.
